Lemon Juice has anti-inflammatory properties and is high in vitamin C.
Raspberries have antioxidants that help protect cell membranes and against free radicals. “The chemicals in red raspberry help relax blood vessels. They might also cause muscles to contract or relax, depending on the dose and the muscle involved.” (Web MD). They also contain quercitin and anthrocyanins, which further aid their ability to protect from bacteria and fungi in the system, also reduces outbreaks of vaginal yeast infections and irritable bowel disease.
“Used for thousands of years by Native Americans, red raspberry is helpful as a uterine tonic to strengthen the uterus during pregnancy and strengthen contractions during labor. The tea doesn't bring on contractions, only helps to focus them, making them more effective.” (Live strong). Some women use raspberry leaf for Dysmenorrhea, morning sickness associated with pregnancy, preventing miscarriage, and easing labor and delivery.
